Dimitra at the age of 83 was the beloved wife of the late Dimitrios Stathakos. Much loved sister of Athanasia in Greece. Predeceased by her twin sister Georgia (George Paliyannis). Forever in the hearts of her nephews; John (Liliana), Bill (Maria), and Dimitri and their families. Fondly remembered by the Stathakos family.
Dimitra deeply loved travelling to her homeland of Greece to spend time with her sister.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Grace Villa Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
Funeral Service will be held at Panagia Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 233 East 15th Street, Hamilton on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Rymal Road East, Hamilton.
