With great sadness, the family announces that Tatay Jun passed away peacefully, on Monday, January 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Anita (nee Ordonio) for 60 years. Loving father of Norma Basilla (Hussain Alumairy), Noel Basilla (Judith), Noli Basilla (Maritess), Dionisio Basilla Jr. (Late Mylene), and Dante Basilla (Marifa).
Proud Tatay\Lolo to grandchildren Sakina, Ali, Adel, Mark, Richmond, Vincent, Anita Rose, Joan, Shaika, Jancen, Catherine, Mark Jason, Dan, and Brian and great-grandchildren Yasmine and Talia.
He will also be lovingly remembered by many family and friends both here in Canada and the Philippines.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Sunday, January 12th from 2 - 4 pm and 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The Funeral Liturgy to celebrate his life will take place in the Cresmount Chapel on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11 am. Burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
