Don is survived by his loving wife, Vera and his children Emmett Pearce (Ann), Donna Stewart and Michele Hudson (Ted). Proud Grandfather of Janine Buffo (Mike), Justin Stewart (Toni), Pearce Hudson and Kelli Hudson (Marcel) and Kazuo Pearce.
Great Grandfather of Lucas Buffo, Vera Buffo, Eilis Stewart and Elias Stewart.
Don was a long time employee of CHCH TV, retiring in 1995. He was active in the community coaching hockey with M.H.M.H.A., softball at Eastmount Park and lacrosse with Hamilton Lacrosse Association. Don enjoyed playing slo-pitch and curling as well as fishing with his best friend Harry Rollo (RIP).
The family would like to thank the PSWs, VON nurses and nurses of wards E4 & F4 at Juravinski Hospital for their care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Saturday September 26, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
