Donald Joseph Walsh

Donald is survived by his wife Deborah, his daughter Shelley (Brian) of Hamilton and son Roderick (Trina) of Edmonton, AB. Cherished grandfather of Tyler (Marissa) and Riley and great-grandfather of Ellie, Gabbrelle and Joslyn. Dear brother of John, Robert, Marguerite and Donna and brother-in-law of Darren Carew and Subash Punni. He is predeceased by his parents Matthew and Mercedes, his sister Marie and brother-in-law Gerald Ford. Donald will be missed by his nieces Sonya, Vicky and Stephanie.

Donald was a proud Newfoundlander, born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. A kind soul, Donald was known for his compassionate and caring nature towards everyone, especially towards animals (dogs and horses being his favourite). He had an unwavering commitment and devotion for his family and steadfast loyalty for his friends. He always loved to laugh and joke around with others. Donald will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 1:15-2 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 2 p.m.
