Donna Ruth McEwen

Donna met her Saviour and Lord face to face on April 4, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Donna joined her beloved husband, Lorne (deceased 1996) in heaven. Loving and devoted mother of Nancy and Tom Bowler, Colleen and Bruce Dorman. Wonderful and supportive grandma of Terri (nee Bowler) and Paul Menary, Ryan and Stephanie Bowler, Wes and Cassandra Dorman and Keith Dorman. Much adored “G.G.” of 6 great-grandchildren, Aydan and Kyleigh Menary, Simon, Audrey, Alex and Kyle Dorman. Dear sister of Peggy Baker (deceased 1968), Beth Heckford and Dale Lover. Donna became a faithful servant to her Lord when she accepted Him as Saviour at a Billy Graham crusade in 1955. Donna was an active member of Elliott Heights Baptist Church since 1956, serving in many areas. Much gratitude for the wonderful care given to our Mom by the HNHB LHIN Palliative Care Team and the VON staff, especially to Mom’s kind and caring PSW, Dicoelle. Family will receive friends at Elliott Heights Baptist Church, 1300 Fennell Ave. E., on Friday, April 6th from 1p.m. until time of service at 3p.m. A private interment take place.
