Donna is reunited with her parents Cliff and Jackie Stanek and her brothers Richard and Steven Stanek.
She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her sisters Karen, Jacqueline, and Elaine and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Donna was born and raised in Hamilton, graduated from Mohawk College and Sheridan College and went on to use her education to work for Canada Revenue Agency for more than 20 years.
Donna had a very creative flair and enjoyed doing needlework, beading, and other artistic endeavors.
The family wish to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital - Mary Grace 4th Floor and the Palliative Care Department for their compassionate care.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Funeral Liturgy will take place at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, Ontario on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 1 pm with visitation one hour prior.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Red Cross or Missions Services or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by her family.
