Doris Marie MacIsaac (nee Wood)

Doris passed peacefully, at home with her family by her side. She was the rock that held our family together. Our mom always put family first and created a home that was full of love and great food. Mom and Dad always loved fishing yearly in Prince Edward Island on their anniversary, May 11. They made many memories on Big Pond and went Smelt fishing below the homestead on the Atlantic. Doris will now be reunited with her loving husband, Earl (2008), and laid to rest at St. Columba Cemetery in Souris, Prince Edward Island, during a private gathering to be held at a later time. Loving mother to David (Lynda) and Kevin (Shelly); grandmother to Matthew (Rebecca), Stephanie (Whitney), Olivia, Emma, and Aiden; and great-grandmother to Aria and Liam. Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Earl; her parents, Clarence and Annie; her brother, Collins; and sister, Mary. Special thank you to Judi (PSW) and mom's neighbors. Mom, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, from 3 - 7 p.m. A Prayer Service will take place at 4 p.m., in the Funeral Home Chapel.
