

Loving father of Margaret (Tom) Stark, Esther (Greg) Elliott, Ted (Carole) Elliott, and Elizabeth (Chris) Elliott. Loving and proud grandfather of Amber (Mat), Heather, Shawn, Jennifer, Tommy, late Steven, Victoria, Michael (Vanessa), and Brandon and great-grandfather of Christopher, Montana, Harley, Regan, Kellin, Marcus, Connor, Levi, Lyndy, and Lennox. He will remembered by family in Ireland and Canada, and his friends Graham and Joe from North Bay.
He was predeceased by his wife Mildred Elliott (2006) and his wife Gloria (2025).
Ed was born in Belfast, Ireland and he came to Canada at the age of 12 with his parents and siblings, settling in Hamilton. He joined the Navy and moved to Halifax and area until 1975.
After leaving the Navy, he worked as a security guard at National Steel Car, an Airplane Mechanic in Toronto, and retired as a custodian at a church.
He loved painting landscape sceneries, building models, hunting, fishing, watching auto races, and spending time with family.
The family wish to thank the staff on 7 South Ward at the Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate care.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family committal will be held at White Chapel Memorial Garden Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hamilton General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
