Peacefully, at home, on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Ann for 64 years. Cherished father of Lynn and Kathy, Chuck and Mary, John and Jackie. Precious grandfather of Trish, Jennifer and Greg, Shawna, Megan, Jason and Alice, Lindsay, Kristen and Alan, Justin and great-grandfather of Katryna, Olivia and Victoria. A Veteran of WWII. Retired employee of Dofasco with over 30 years of service and an avid golf enthusiast. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 6-9pm and on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 10am until the time of Memorial Service at 11am. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens to follow. Donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
