

Eileen Marie Morrison was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Eileen will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Elfrid Charles Ratelle and Olivene Bridget Walton.
Eileen was raised with one sister. She had one sister Norma Medley. Eileen was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Empathic and loyal, Eileen was committed to making her new family happy.
Eileen worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Eileen was blessed with four children, two sons, James (1978) and Wayne ( Deb), and two daughters, Kathy (Bill) and JoAnn (Doug). Another blessing for Eileen was the gift of nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, thirteen great - grandchildren, four step - great grandchildren and one step great-great-grandchild.
Eileen passed away on January 13, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, ON. Eileen was laid to rest in White Chapel Memorial Garden.
Simply stated, Eileen was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Eileen leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Eileen Marie Morrison.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother and matriarch of the family. Mom has now joined her beloved husband James (1988) and son Jim (Butch-1978). Cherished mother to her children Wayne (Deb), Kathy (Bill), and JoAnn (Doug). Loved grandmother to Debbie (Matt), Teresa (Trevor), Jim (MaryJo), Julie (Dave), Tara (Bob), Melanie, Amy (Garreth), Joe and Mandy (Brett). Step grandmother to Bill (Kim) and Carol (Mike). Devoted great grandmother of 13, step great grandmother of 4 and step great great grandmother of 1. Loving sister of Norma Medley and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Our mother was a very kind and gentle women with a loving and tender spirit. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. A very sincere thank you to the outstanding nurses and staff of the 3rd floor E wing, the whole staff on B-3 wing at the Juravinski Hospital and also to the wonderful staff at St. Peters Hospital East wing 4th floor. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) on Sunday, January 15th from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, January 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. A reception will take place at Cresmount Upper James Chapel (1020 Upper James Street, Hamilton) following interment in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, HSPCA, or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
