We regret to announce the sudden passing of our cherished wife, mother and friend on Sunday, April 17th, 2011. Beloved wife and best friend of Terence for 37 years, Cherished mother of Riaan and his wife Kate, Lize , and Terence John and his fiancé Christa Hall. Elrethe is survived by her sister Corene Myburgh of South Africia. Predeceased by her parents Willem and Corrie Smit in South Africa. Elrethe spent many years dedicating her life to the field of education. Over the years she became a very respected Principal of a private school, where the children have grown and won awards for their strengths. Cremation has taken place.
The Memorial Service will be celebrated at Chedoke Presbyterian Church, 865 Mohawk Rd. W,(at Magnolia Dr.), Hamilton, on Thursday, April 21st, 2011 at 11am. Family will be available to share condolences at 10am at the church.
Donations made to the Juravinski Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
