Peacefully at St. Peter's Chedoke with loving family by her side, on November 25, 2015. Dearly loved mother of Carol (the late Wayne) Bezeau, Barbara (the late Mike) Tatalovic, Diane (Raymond) Furley, Paul (Josephine) and Ian (Sue) Cummins of England. She is finally reunited with her dearly loved son Tony, age 16, who left us suddenly July 24, 1960. Loving Nana of Michelle (Brian) Barr, Christine (Craig) Ruthowsky, Ryan (Helen) Bezeau, Alexis (Ryan) Stephenson, Mark Tatalovic, Matthew Tatalovic, Jason (Sarah) Packer, Patrick Boydell and Jessica Boydell. Adored by her nine great-grandchildren. Missed dearly by her brother Pat (Carol) Burden of England. Predeceased by her brothers Jack and Bill (the late Addie) Burden. Elsie was a war bride coming to Canada in 1949. She was dedicated to family, an elegant lady with gentle ways and a quiet sense of humour. She will always be admired for her passion and knowledge of antique dolls. She had many talents, one most outstanding was her knitting for special family and friends. Special thank you to St. Peter's Chedoke Cedar Terrace staff for their remarkable care and exceptional kindness shown to our mother. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME UPPER JAMES CHAPEL, 1020 Upper James St., on Sunday, November 29th from 12-2 p.m. followed by a celebration of life reception. A private family burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada/CJD would appreciated by the family.
