It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gene, at his home, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Lena. Proud and devoted father of Brandon, Tiffany (Joe), and Allison Lyons (Todd). Cherished “Pops” of Jacob, Isaac, Owen, and Georgia. Predeceased by his sister Irene Fedina. He will be fondly remembered by the Fedina family, extended family and many friends. Gene will be remembered for his love of rock and roll music, most notably, as the original bass player with Robbie Lane and the Disciples. He later pursued a successful career in Chiropractic, where he will be greatly missed by his patients and colleagues. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton on Monday from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
