Eva Trapp

Eva was a loving mother to Emmerich (Patricia), a proud and devoted Oma to Adam (Amanda) and Andrew (Nardia), and close aunt to Margarethe (Piter). She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, with whom she now joyfully reunites.

Eva's century of life was marked by kindness, quiet strength, and a generous spirit. She had a remarkable way of making others feel welcome, loved, and valued.

While our hearts mourn her loss, we celebrate the extraordinary life she lived and the joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the love she shared, and the countless lives she touched.

Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington.
