Evelyn Geraldine Hunt

Loving mother of her dear son, David, and predeceased by her cherished son, Darryl, (1985) waiting with his Dad for us all to be together again. Predeceased by her parents, Fred and Isabel Fowler, Chipman N.B. and by her sisters Beatrice, Myra (Percy), Marie (Scott), Eloise (Floyd) and brother Freddie (Laura). Evelyn remembers with love her sister-in-law Ruth Tardif in Maine and Betty Paulson in N. Bay, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews (with special thanks to nieces Wonita, Margaret and Marilyn). Thanks also to friends Wendy Smith, Jean Lethbridge, Marg Turnbull, and the many PSW friends and caregivers who cared for her as she made Rushdale Home. Evelyn gives a very special thank you, full of gratitude and love, to her friend Debra Kumita for her complete care over many years. Evelyn enjoyed her family as they had many special holidays and family vacations together and enjoyed curling, golfing and many bridge games. She was an active member of Delta United and Emmanuel United for over sixty years. She loved and was very proud of her family, home, her very dear son, David, and her constant companion and friend, 'Princess'. Evelyn retired after many happy years as a legal assistant, and in later years as an accountant supervisor. She had fond memories of the special friendships made during these years. Visitation will be held at Emmanuel United Church, 871 Upper Ottawa Street from 12noon until time of Funeral Service at 1pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Internment and Blessings to follow at Trinity Church Cemetery (off Rymal Road East). Donations would be appreciated to Neighbour 2 Neighbour or S.P.C.A. in memory of my friend, Princess.
