BOYD, Evered J. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evered John Boyd (December 4, 1929 - June 28, 2012). Cherished husband to Dorothy for 58 years. Loving father to Norman (Lisa), Nancy Ramsey (Colin), Victoria, David (Marie) as well as grandchildren Nick (Natasha), Matthew (Jenna), Danielle, Katelyn, Rebecca, Lindsay, Aleck, Jaclyn, Riley and great-grandchildren Julia, Dominic, Leila and Kingston. Evered worked for 15 years for the Hamilton Fire Department before retiring from Dofasco with 25 years of service. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Evered's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
