Age 68, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2019 from cancer. She was born in Bolong, Zamboanga, Philippines to Enrique and Brigida Medina. She married her longtime friend and love, Carlito Agaton, in June of 1983. Flor was a dedicated nurse for 41 years and touched many lives. She spent the final years of her career working with Alzheimer’s residents at St. Peter’s at Chedoke. Her life was a living example of what it means to be selfless, modest, empathetic, and she always put others before herself. No matter the circumstance, Flor’s love and generosity always made you feel welcome and like family. Flor is survived by her sisters Noemi Rodriguez and Gemma Pillay; and two children Johnathan and Karen Agaton. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., Hamilton, on Sunday, June 23rd from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Parish at Corpus Christi site,1694 Upper James St., Hamilton on Monday, June 24th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
