Frank Michael Cunko

Our family is heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our most beloved son Frank Michael at the age of 43 on Sunday August 26, 2018. Dearly loved son of Franjo and Mirica Cunko and cherished brother to Diana and Aaron Moffatt. Fun loving uncle to his nieces whom he adored Megan and Alexandra. Beloved nephew to Goldie Matkovich (Tom) and dear cousin to Mary Farrell (Christopher), Carolyn Boileau (Olivier), Suzy Matkovich and their children. Frank will be greatly missed by Nick and Ankica Ciglar and family. He was loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Canada and Aunt Marica, Aunt Nada, Aunt Zorica, Uncle Mijo and their families in Croatia. Frank enjoyed time with family and friends, fishing, soccer and car shows. Memorial Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at 11 am. Following the service will be a celebration of life at the Croatian Sports and Community Centre, 166 Green Mountain Road East, Stoney Creek. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Frank’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family. Private family interment will follow at a later date.
