Frank Samuel Hacking

5 June, 194326 July, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father on July 26, 2020 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Helen for 55 years.

Cherished father to Alison Wright (Rob) and Kathryn Grandgenett (Jim). Adored Papa to Aidan, Sophia and Liam. Frank enjoyed his time working for the airline industry for 35 years. Frank will be lovingly remembered for his love of travel, family vacations, the Montreal Canadiens, golf and drum corps. For all those who knew him, Frank was frank and he will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends. Keeping with Frank's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life to take place at a later date.

Dear Helen,
I am so sorry to learn of Frank's passing.

As I text this message, I am smiling at my memories of Frank and you. Recalling the pediatric parties , Frank's presence lit up the room! There was always laughter, oh so much laughter!
Yes, Frank was frank! It was all GOOD!

My thoughts and prayers are with you Helen and your family at your family's time of grieving.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Frank was not only my neighbour but a good friend, he was one of a kind! Under that gruffness was a heart of gold and nothing was more important to him than his family. He loved his wife Helen and was so proud of his daughters Alison and Kathryn. His grandchildren Aidan, Sophia and Liam brought him so much joy and happiness. Frank has left behind many great memories that will bring comfort in the days ahead and I somehow think he would like to be remembered with a smile rather than tears. Rest in peace my friend, I’ll see you soon. arLeen & Ron

Frank was an awesome Drum Corp enthusiast that will be remembered for allowing his children to share in his passion. God Bless Frank, and reach for those High "C's"...
