Beloved husband of Sherry and dear first born son of Gary and Gail Reid. He will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings Darren (Val), Lori (John), and Sherri (Brian), brother in-law Gregory (Beatrice), sister in-law Cindy, aunts and uncles, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Gary was born and lived his life in Hamilton. He enjoyed bowling and sports of all types and travelling. Gary had a special place in his heart for their dog Teller.
The family wish to thank the nurses and team at the Toronto General Hospital for their compassionate care.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at The Brown Barrel Eatery, 1515 Upper Ottawa Street, Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 12 - 4 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by Gary's family.
