Loving husband to Vicky of 60 years. Adored father to Jimmy Doukas (Tammy), Georgina Weeks (Dave) and Steven Doukas. Cherished Papou to Matthew, Kristen, Joerge, Gabriel, Kylie and Dani. George will be deeply missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Born on March 9, 1941 in Greece to parents Dimitrios & Georgina Doukas. George was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and his beloved game of Pinnacle. He will be lovingly remembered for his beautiful smile, charming personality and his broken English. Special thanks to the staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice & Dr. Juergens at Juravinski Hospital for the kind care and compassion given to George. Donations can be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in George's memory. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Prayer Service to be held at 3:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, 233 East 15th Street on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, 260 Rymal Road E. Hamilton.
