It was with profound sadness that I learned of George's passing, while attending the 2019 WEAO/OPCEA conference and exposition yesterday in Toronto. It was at industry events like this one that we both attended for well over 20 years, that I got to know George. I was truly looking forward to catching up with him at this one.

We had worked together quite a lot last year on an in depth article he wrote for us on the issue of water fluoridation, which George was so passionate about.

When I shared the news of his passing with many of his OPCEA friends yesterday, there was disbelief, followed by statements, of " what a nice man George was" and "I was looking forward to chatting with him at his booth"

To the Pastoric family, please accept my sincere condolences at this saddest of times. I considered George a friend, and will greatly miss him and our chats about the state of the world. And oh that smile, made even bigger by the proudest of mustaches.

Yours truly
Steve Davey, Editor, Environmental Science & Engineering Magazine, and 2019 President of The Ontario Pollution Control Equipment Association.

Dearest (Grandpa) George,

Each passing day you are missed more and more. Your grandbabies miss you so much but they are keeping strong remembering all the kind, fun loving memories with you, Grandpa George. The garbage bag of fun at Christmas, the many meals together at the kitchen table, backyard BBQs, exploring your many instruments and neat souvenirs from the places you explored, super fast remote control cars, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Trailer Park Boys and so much more... Your boys continue to share your love for Killbear and music. A safe place. Know you are loved and will be missed greatly. In our thoughts...

Dear George!

This photo was taken in your father's hometown of Pag in 2008 during your first, but sadly last visit to Croatia. Even though we have spent just a short time with you, it was an encounter of great and vivid importance to us all. We will always cherish and remember your kind and gentle soul in our hearts and memories..

It was with great sadness that we received the news of your passing, George. For over ten years your presence at our weekly Sahaja Yoga meditation classes was always a delight. You were a true seeker, on a quest to find answers about the spiritual nature of life. We have heavy hearts at the thought that we will not see your wonderful smile or hear your jolly laugh or be able to engage in a discussion with you again. Your lovely spirit will live on and maybe we will once again cross paths.

From your fellow-meditators: Kathy, Helen, Monique, Terry, Tejas, Julie, Theresa....and many others you came in contact with over the years. May God bless you!
