I am so terribly sorry for the loss of this amazing person, I’ve known George my entire life, Diane babysat me and my sister since we were little. But they treated me so much for than just a friend of the family I was treated as apart of it. All the times we were babysat and all the Easter egg hunts with the specific egg colour to every child is something I will cherish forever. George was an amazing person with a heart of gold  and will be deeply missed 

Time will never erase the good times and great memories we shared with you George. 
You will be greatly missed, but your warmth, kindness and gentle spirit will be remembered forever. 
You truly are one of the good ones!

We were very sorry to hear of the death of George.  Although we haven't seen you in a long while, we often think of the times we shared together with our cousins.

My condolences to George's family - especially Diane, Dallas, and Cody. It has been a long time since I've seen George (at least 15 years) - but my brother and I spent a lot of time at their house on the Mountain as kids as Diane was our babysitter (mid-1990s). Christy usually used to pick us up from school when I was in junior kindergarten. Except for this one time George came to pick us up; in an almost-new car he'd probably gotten from Ford. I had an accident in his car, and was absolutely terrified that George was going to kill me! To my surprise, he just laughed it all off. That's just the kind of guy that he was. 

George and I, being close in age, spent a lot of time with each other. I remember when I got an embroidery kit for Christmas, he sat next to me and we happily embroidered together. I kept a photo of George with his cool, iconic, blonde afro in my wallet for years. He remained a strong support for me through my teen years and gently told me when he had reservations about some of my friends and then gave me the thumbs up when he met my fiance. He loved to laugh and had a quiet chuckle where his shoulders would shake and eyes would sparkle. My memories of George are special. He will be missed.

We as cousins grew up together and visited many weekends back and forth as our dad’s were the closest of brothers and our moms were good friends. George was such a kind gentle soul as a little boy already. We have so many memories of playing, hanging out and sharing meals together. As our families grew and we lived in different provinces, we didn’t see each other as much but always felt like we could pick up where we left off when we did connect again. Such a special guy! He kept that gentle, kind manner his whole life. He told us that having grandkids was the best! He loved you all so much and had such a capacity for that. We hope that that love and more carries you all forward. We hope to see you all for hugs the next time we see each other. 
We are so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, Opa, son, brother, nephew and our cousin, George. This should not have been. As you as a family grieve together, are heartbroken and feel this terrible loss, know that we grieve with you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

George was like a member of our family for so many years when he was so kind to my parents, Bern and Jean Page (Pops and Gawkey). George held a special place in my heart, like a beloved uncle. His presence always brought warmth and laughter to any gathering. I will deeply miss his incredible sense of humor and his infectious laughter that could light up a room.

George had a unique ability to find joy and humor in the simplest of moments. His jokes and witty remarks never failed to bring a smile to my face. His laughter was contagious, and it spread happiness to everyone around him. The memories of those precious moments will forever be etched in my mind.

But George's impact went beyond laughter. He had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Whether it was offering support to a friend in need or going out of his way to make someone feel special, George had a genuine and selfless spirit that inspired us all.

As I reflect on George's passing, my heart goes out to his children, grandchildren, and his loving wife, Diane. I cannot begin to fathom the depth of their loss. In this difficult time, I offer my sincerest condolences and hope that they find strength and solace in the cherished memories they shared with George. Despite the physical distance between us, I want them to know that they are not alone. We are here for them, ready to provide support and comfort in any way we can.

George, you will always hold a special place in my heart. Your humor, laughter, and generosity have left an indelible mark on my life. Though I feel the void left by your absence, I take solace in the memories we shared and the lessons you taught me about kindness and joy. Rest peacefully, dear George, knowing that your spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know you.

So sorry to hear this sad news about George. I worked with George at Ford for  34 years. We met for breakfast and it was nice seeing him there.  George will be sadly missed. My condolences to his wife and family.  Al Kovacic.

Later wqe ended up renting a condo on Warwick Court together with 4 guys when we were just 18 - 19. Looking back it seems like yesterday, good times. George may you be resting in peace.
