

surrounding him, Glen peacefully went to be with his Lord. Dear father-in-law of Kathryn (née Pettipas) and Rick Ellison. Grampa of Robb, Tyler (Emily), Karen (Taylor), and Brittany and Great Grampa to Isobel, brother in law to Beatrice (PEI) and Doris (Ontario) and beloved uncle to all his nieces and nephews and greats and great greats. Born Oct. 17, 1932, Mount Pleasant, PEI, the eleventh child of Sir Colin and Clara Marie (née Hatfield) Campbell. Glen loved his family and cherished his siblings, whom he now joins in Heaven. Glen was a stationary engineer and worked at Stelco from 1952 to 1988. He loved sports, both watching and playing. He belonged to the Independent Order of Forresters. Glen was a Past Master of Wardrope Lodge #555 A.F. & A.M., Past Patron of Rosedale Chapter #131 OES, and was a member of Royal Arch Masons. As a member of the Institute of Power Engineers, Glen was part of the team that restored what would become the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology. His family is proud of that accomplishment and the plaque with his name on the wall is a lasting monument. An active member of Trinity Baptist Church for many years and then Linden Park United Church till present. Thank you to the 911 operators, EMS, Police, and Fire, and especially Paramedics Neil and Lindsay and Officer Dawn for their compassion care and support. Thank you to the Hamilton Medical Ventures for making it possible for his family to be with him in his final moments (fitting as he was a Boy Scout in his youth). Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Friday, February 8th from 2-9 p.m. with an Eastern Star service at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at Linden Park Community Church, 484 East 16th St., on Saturday, February 9th from 2-3 p.m. A Masonic Service will take place at 3 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Glen's Life at 4 p.m. Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.cresmountfennellchapel.com
