On October 4, 2021, at Grace Villa in Hamilton with his stepdaughter Yvonne Beaudet on his port side and his niece, Victoria Randall on his starboard side, Glenn Freeman, 72, set sail for high seas in heaven with his wife Frances at the helm.
Predeceased by his wife Frances and his parents Lennard and Evelyn, Glenn leaves behind his stepdaughter Yvonne Beaudet and grandson, Jamie Daughtrey (Kaitlin) and great grandchildren, Bentley, Sadie and Willow; sister Gayle Hagerman (née Freeman), (Bob), and nieces Victoria Randall (Martin Savard) and Kae Randall Blancher (Joshua Blancher) and nephew Andrew Bebee (Christina). Also survived by great nieces and nephews, William, Charlotte, Caroline, Georgina, Sebastian, Lillie, Kate, Lu and Lilith.
Glenn was a long-time member of the Hamilton Jaycees and was awarded the highest international honour in the organization as Senator. He was also a long-time member of the Bronte Harbour Yacht Club. After many years in pharmaceutical sales, Glenn mastered the art of creating 6-foot subs as a Mr. Sub franchisee and went on to become a respected and cherished bus driver for handicapped children. He will be missed. Cremation has taken place and a private family service and interment will be held. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.
