On August 22, 2015, at the age of 75, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. Beloved husband of Wendy, nee Dunn. Loving father of Lea Downing-Dolman and Karen Linton (Patmour). Proud grandfather of Scott and Michael Dolman and Jessica, Cassandra and Jacob Linton. Gord devoted thirty years of his life to teaching elementary school students in the City of Hamilton, a job that he loved. In retirement he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Cremation has taken place. Donations in his memory may be made to the Royal Botanical Gardens or the charity of your choice. At his request, no funeral service will be held, however, a time to share memories and to celebrate his life will be held at The Dundas Museum & Archives, 139 Park St. W., on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff of Emmanuel House for their kind and compassionate care.
