Gordon Otto Peddle

Surrounded by family, Gordon Otto Peddle passed away peacefully on June 15, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Margaret. Cherished father of Carrie, Michael (Rosanne) and Kimberly Bell (Michael). Devoted Papa and Grandpa to Joshua, Matthew, Amelia and Kaitlyn. Gord will be dearly missed by his siblings Hayward, Jean, Carol (Walter), Bill (Sylvia) and Don (Glenys) as well as many nieces and nephews. He had a passion for aviation and served proudly in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 33 years. Gord loved a good book, a good road trip and a good debate but, most of all, he loved his family deeply and dearly. Those who were loved by him will be forever grateful for his love. Many thanks to the caring professionals who tended to Gord these last few months in hospital, particularly nurse practitioners Linda Smith and Jan Park Dorsay and the kind, respectful staff at St. Peter’s. Visitation at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Paramount Drive Alliance Church on Friday, June 21, 2013, at 1 pm, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
