After a short illness on Sunday, March 3, 2013, peacefully at home in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband Ken. Cherished mother of Lori and Steve Foster, Terri and Bill Davidson, Kim and Doug Henderson, Kelly and Brian Spera. Proud Grandma of Brad, Jeff and Heather Foster, Kaley and Samantha Davidson, Jordan and Allie Henderson, Laura and Quinn Spera. Thank you to the CCAC and Bayshore team for their continous support and to Dr. Ken Burgess for his kindness and compassion. Lastly, a very special thank you to MaryAnne, Leona and Sue, her BFFs and golden girls. Your loving care and amazing friendship allowed her to remain comfortable at home, exactly where she wanted to be. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 6-9pm where the Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 1pm. If desired, donations may be made to the Hamilton/Halton SPCA or a charity of choice.
