Karen and John, you know my thoughts and prayers are with you always. Your mom and grandmother was such a lovely woman. I have such fond memories of her from the time I was six years old. She was the epitome of grace and style. She always had a smile on her face  and friendly words. I loved chatting with her on the phone whether you were there or not Karen. Dearest Karen - looking at the photos on-line brings back so many happy memories of times spent with you and your mom and dad at your house in Hamilton and at Gull Lake.  We had some wonderful family gatherings.   I will definitely miss Aunt Helen’s phone calls.  We had some good chats.  You are in our thoughts and prayers and look forward to giving you a big hug on Tuesday.  Your “older”cousin- Shirley and John

I will always remember Mrs. Thomson for her elegance and class during the 60 years that I have known Karen and her family. Our mothers had so much in common as Karen and I grew up. They were both hairdressers, they were both impecable about their appearance and they always had a smile as they greeted one another.

I will miss our conversations on the phone when Karen was not available. She will always have a special place in my heart.
