Ivan Crnkovic

Passed away peacefully surrounded

by his loving family at St. Peter's

Hospital on Saturday, April 12, 2014

in his 89th year. Dearly beloved

husband of the late Ruza Crnkovic

(2007). Dearly beloved father of

Brenda (Brankica) Rossetti and

husband John and Marijan Crnkovic

and wife Frances of St. Catharines.

Cherished grandfather of Irena and

Robert Shook, Maryann and

Dominik Klopfer, Matthew and Julia

Simatovic, Robert, Danielle and

Brianne Crnkovic. Loving great-grandfather

of Matthew, Victoria, Heidi

and Annaliese. Also remembered by

many cousins and friends in Croatia,

Windsor, Cleveland and Hamilton.

Special thanks to all the staff at St.

Peter's Hospital especially Dr. Beverly

Hattersley and all the nurses for

their wonderful care and compassion.

Ivan was a member of the Knights

of Columbus, the Croatian Soccer

Club, HDZ and a retired employee of

Dofasco. The family will receive

friends at the MARKEY-DERMODY

FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E.

(at Kenilworth Ave. S.) on Tuesday

from 2-4 p.m and 6-9 p.m. Vigil

prayers Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral

Mass will be celebrated from Holy

Cross Church on Wednesday, April

16th at 9:30 a.m followed by

interment at Holy Sepulchre

Cemetery. Donations to the Croatian

Sports and Community Centre, Holy

Cross Church or the Croatian Centre
