Born in Croatia, Ivan was a longtime steel worker at Stelco and Samuel, a devoted grandfather, and a friend to all who knew him. Special thanks to his caregivers Vivian Cvetkovic, Dr. Baker and staff at McMaster’s Neuromuscular Clinic, and the staff at Arbour Creek.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ivan’s life will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton in the Trillium Reception Room on Tuesday October 29, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
