Ivan John Krizmanic

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Juravinski Hospital at the age of 61. Predeceased by his parents Rudolf and Marija. Best friend and beloved husband of 39 years to Ankica Krizmanic (nee Tomasic). Loving father to John and his fiancée Claudia Pasc, and Joseph and his wife Laura (nee Botzang). Ivan was also the proud grandfather of Julia Krizmanic. Ivan will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law Kata Tomasic, sister Vera (Stanko) Majnaric and their family, brother-in-law Joe (Mary) Tomasic, niece Christine (Chad) Bonner (nee Tomasic), nephew Matthew Tomasic, great-nieces Alexis and Olivia Bonner, many great family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Ivan’s kindness and generosity touched so many during his life, and we thank you all for your love and support.

Resting at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, (at Kenilworth), where family will receive friends on Friday July 19 from 4-9pm. Vigil prayers on Friday at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church on Saturday July 20, 2013 at 9am. Interment in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery on Mud Street to follow.
