BEATT, James Wallace In Hamilton on December 17, 2012. Beloved husband of Wilhelmina Beatt (nee Hetherington) and the late Joyce Russell Beatt (nee Hunte). Loving father of Paul Brian and his wife Sandra in Aurora, Kathleen Louise Dustan and her husband John in Vancouver, Janet Ethel Hazelton and her husband Gary in Hamilton. Dearly loved brother of John in Hamilton and Margaret MacDonald in Owen Sound. Loving step-father of Paul Hetherington and his wife Eva in Stoney Creek. Dear grandfather of Michelle, Danielle, Jason, Leigh, Erin and Michael and Jessica and great- grandfather of Sadie, Hunter, Grace, Lukas, Alexa, Treyton and Cru. Mr. Beatt was an active member and ordained Elder at MacNab Street Presbyterian Church in Hamilton for 47 years and a member of the Hugh Murray Lodge A.F.A.M. He was a former employee of the Westinghouse appliance division and a long time member of the Chemical Technical Sales and Service Division of Canadian Occidental Petroleum LTD. The family would like to thank nurses and staff for the wonderful compassionate care Jim received during his stay at Macassa Lodge. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at MacNab Street Presbyterian Church, 116 MacNab Street South in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MacNab Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
