

Nolan, James Joseph - Joe passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Monday, December 11, 2006 surrounded by love. James Joseph is now resting in the arms of his Lord. Beloved and caring husband of 54 years to Mildred Jean (McLean). The best Dad to Cathy (Brian), Terriey (Chris), Peter (Sharon), Anne (Rob), Susan (Brian), Joanne (Nick) and Jeannie (Wes). BIGGEST FAN of his grandchildren, Jaclyn (Rob), Carla (Matt), Scot, Hayley, Nichole, Ryan (Mandy), Rebekah (Michael), Joshua (Tanya), Jenie-Thai, Joseph, Maggie, Nataya, Johnathan, Hannah, Mary, Jennifer, Aaron, Sarah, Ashton, Brandon, Courtney, Nola-Rose, Peter, Sieanna and McLean. Special J.J. (Great-Grandpa) to Sydney, Zachary, Ella and Brady.
Predeceased by sisters-in-law Joyce Turcotte, Rose Nolan, brothers Peter, Phil and brothers-in-law Tony Gismondi, Albert Santucci and Joe Mattiacci. Caring brother of Rosemary Santucci, Pat Gismondi, Mona Mattiacci, John (Donna), Paul (Marianne) Nolan, brother-in-law of Jean, Donna, Donna and Bill Turcotte (Joyce). Warm hearted uncle to many nieces and nephews. One of the originating founders of Alexander Park Police Minor Baseball Association (1962). Owner of J&J Sheet Metal of Hamilton and Dundas. Parishioner of Canadian Martyrs Roman Catholic Church for over 40 years. A very loyal gentleman to his circle of friends. The family will receive friends for visitation at SWACKHAMER, BLACHFORD & WRAY FUNERAL HOME 1341 Main Street West (opposite McMaster) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday 8 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will take place at Canadian Martyrs Roman Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
