Husband to Maria (nee Tang) and father to Christina Mines (Robert). Loved by his grandchildren Nathaniel, Josephine and Levi.
Jamie was a truck driver most of his adult life and loved being on the road. He was happiest when he was behind a steering wheel on a long road trip or on the end of a fishing rod during salmon season. He loved the outdoors and spent much time with family and friends in Bruce Grey County, especially in the fall. The changing of the leaves and apple picking were important seasons to cherish right on Georgian Bay. Jamie had a love for animals that was second to none. He would care for any pup within a 20-mile radius and regularly would treat and dote over the animals that lived in his apartment complex. Jamie was a devoted friend and had a passion for serving the elderly. He spent much of his time befriending shut-ins or seniors who could use a helping hand. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
The family of Jamie would like to thank the incredibly dedicated staff of Juravinski Emergency and COVID unit F5 for their love, care and consolation of Jamie in his final days. Thank you for risking your lives each day to care for your patients. You do not go unnoticed, and your countless sacrifices are appreciated by our family.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
