Jean Edna Begin

Predeceased by her parents John Wilbur Eagles and Edith Edna Eagles (nee Coggins). Predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Lawrence Peter Begin, and her siblings Charlotte Edith Ure (nee Eagles) and John Owen Eagles.

Jean will be lovingly missed by her daughter Ellen Jean D’Angelo (nee Begin) and her husband Carmelo D’Angelo, her grandchildren Joseph Lawrence D’Angelo (Amaray) and Isabella Elena D’Angelo, and many nieces and nephews.

Having lived her entire life in Hamilton, Jean enjoyed summers at her Muskoka cottage. She loved entertaining her grandchildren with old VHS movies and doing crossword puzzles.

At home, Jean would enjoy talking politics with her grandson Joseph, listening to the adventures of her granddaughter Isabella, and boasting about the success of her daughter Ellen. Up to the day she passed, Jean lived independently at home looking after her pets.

The family would like to thank the exceptional care of the medical teams at Hamilton General Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital.

A private family service will follow.
