Jean was a devoted wife to her husband Larry (d) and a loving mother and mother-in-law to Laura Brenda (d) (Keith) (d), Marilyn (Wayne) (Steve) (d), Cheri and Beverlee.
Blessed with grandchildren Jon, Lynlee (Andrew), Christopher, Anthony, Brock, Trent and great-grandchildren Zephyr and Halcyon.
Family and friends will fondly remember Jean as a stay-at-home mom who personified traditional values. She was the stoic backbone of the Busch family. She was a caring, compassionate friend to many, volunteering her time and was a Lady Hamilton member in the late 1990’s. She was a sports fan and enjoyed Ti-Cat and Blue Jays games and with husband Larry, attended NASCAR events.
In her later years, Jean lived at Florentine Place in Stoney Creek and was a popular resident who enjoyed the daily jig saw puzzles in the party room and socializing with her many friends. She also resided at Lakeview Retirement home in Stoney Creek.
Jean’s family would like to thank the staff at Wentworth Lodge in Dundas for their loving and professional care. She was in good hands every day.
A private, family celebration, serenaded with bagpipes, will take place this week at Bayview Cemetery.
Jean, Jean you're young and alive!!
Come out of your half-dreamed dream
And run, if you will to the top of the hill
Come into my arms, bonnie Jean
