Jeannine Rhea Demers

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Jeannine Rhea Demers, on Thursday, August 27th, 2015. Left to mourn is Jean-Marc Carriere, her dearest friend, and her children Suzanne (John Marshall), Linda (Brian Durkin), Annette (Bill Douglas), Marc (Liz Dalton),her nephew David Trottier (Erin), her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother Robert Ducharme (Eileen) and extended family. Predeceased by her husband, Ernest, and her children Diane and Gerry (Chris). She will also be sadly missed by her adoring nieces and nephews and many friends. To Heather Van Cauwenberghe and her team of devoted caregivers at the Elliott Community (Guelph), we are very grateful for the care and support she received. Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday August 31, 2015 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1 at 11 a.m. at Eglise Notre-Dame, Cumberland and Sherman Ave., Hamilton, followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Elliott Community would be appreciated.
