Loving husband of Lynda (née Uncles) for 49 years. Cherished father of Tiffany (Mike) and Michael. Dear Grampy of his only granddaughter Harli.
Jerry was the loving brother of Lillian Custeau and brother-in-law to Roy Uncles, Doris (Ron) Trahan, Lynne (Emmy) Duquette, Brenda Almas and Wesley (Cheryl) Uncles. He was also an uncle to three generations of nieces and nephews.
He was an avid lifelong learner and will be remembered for being a ham radio operator (VE3ACA). He was a lover of animals and will be missed by his feline companion, Jackie. He was also a fan of astronomy, music and movies, especially The Big Bang Theory and The Breakfast Club.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jerry's life will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 1-5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall (222 Queenston Road, Hamilton). Please wear your favourite graphic t-shirt in his memory. Online condolences can be made at www.markeydermody.com
