GILLEN, Jim It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jim Gillen. Born November 22, 1950 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Loving father of Samuel, Jenna and the family dog Dylan. Caring husband of Yvonne (nee Ford) and dear brother of Sandra Hunt (Roy). Predeceased by his parents, Sam and Caroline Gillen. Jim came to Canada with his family in 1956 and resided in Hamilton since the age of thirteen. Jim had a very successful career in Advertising and volunteered thirteen years as a minor hockey coach, where he prided himself in making the game fun. Nothing was more important to Jim than his children. He is now at peace and running with his four legged best friends. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Friday, May 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, May 10th at 1 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the SPCA would be appreciated.
