Peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph's Hospital on July 11th, 2014 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late William Petrie (1980) and companion of the late Bill Evans. Loving mother of Ethel Demain (Bob), Pat Seaben (Wally) and Derek Petrie (Hilary). She will be dearly missed by her 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Edith Gray and the late Betty Ross. She will be fondly remembered by her best friend Audrey Boucher. A special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph's Emergency and complex care units for their care and support.
Her family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at the MARKEY- DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 10 am until time of service at 11 am.
