Mr. John Dobson

Suddenly on September 22, 2010 in his 80th year, at Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved husband of June (nee Nylund) for 51 years. Loving father of Lisa and David Spears as well as John and Judy Dobson. Proud Poppy of Emma, Laura and Lindsay. Dearest brother of Merina (Woodstock, ON). Born & raised in Cambellton NB. Predeceased by his parents John and Regina Dobson as well as his brothers Arnold and Don. Jack is survived by his sister-in-law Teresa and family in Saint John, NB as well as Ralph Nylund of Hamilton. A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish for many years where he was a living example of his Christian faith. A proud veteran of the Korean War. A special mention to his longtime friends and golf buddies at the Sundrim Golf Course. Friends and family will be received at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, UPPER JAMES CHAPEL (1020 Upper James Street) on Sunday September 26 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. A funeral will be held at Cresmount on Monday September 27 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart And Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
