John Myroslav Jurychuk

Beloved husband of Diana (nee Moisiuk) for 56 years. Cherished father of Joanna Trojan (Max), Philip (Tanya) and Myron (Olia). Loving Dido to Roxolyana, Sophia, Marianna, Danylo, Zenon, Zoey and Zoryana. Born in Montreal, the youngest of 11, to Nicholas and Frances Juryczuk (nee Lewandowska). Survived by his siblings Ronald, Irene Avdimiretz and Doreen. Will be missed by his sister-in-law Nadia Opyr (Marshall), brother-in-law Roman Medynski, and many nieces, nephews and family friends. Longtime employee of Ontario Hydro. An active member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor, parish council, and a longtime member of TYC. He was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Hamilton Tiger Cats and an active bowler. Loved travelling with his wife and family across Canada and the US. Will always be remembered as a loving companion to his dogs and cats.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday October 22 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Panachyda at 7:30pm. Funeral Service at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 855 Barton Street East, on Monday October 23 at 10am. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church or the Hamilton and Burlington SPCA would be appreciated.
