Peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on February 1, 2014 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Stella for 55 years. Loving father of Steven. Predeceased by his siblings. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. John was a retired employee of Stelco with 34 years of service. Special thanks to the staff of Juravinski Hospital for their exceptional care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 8 St. Ann Street, on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 9am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
