John Peter Tolys

After a courageous battle passed away at the Juravinski Hospital on April 10, 2016 at the age of 63. Reunited with his parents John (2013) and Lotte (2015). Cherished husband of more than 25 years to Susan (nee Gray). Devoted elder brother of Lucy and John Farranto, Rob and Patty Tolys. Fun Loving uncle of Stephen Tolys, Alexander Tolys, Jacob Tolys, Christopher (Jennifer) Farranto and Kevin (Samantha) Farranto. Dear brother in law of Peter and Laura Gray and their children Jordan and Lauren. Loving son in law of William Gray and the Late Eunice. John will forever live on in the hearts of his extended family and magnificent friends. A hard working and dedicated employee at Dofasco with more than 40 years of service. He was an avid golfer, loved the Toronto Maple Leafs, and had an incredible love and passion for life. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9pm Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St Eugene’s Church (Parkdale at Queenston Rd) on Thursday April 14, 2016 at 10am. Interment at Mt View Gardens Cemetery in Stoney Creek to Follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
