Peacefully on May 1, 2010 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Irene for 62 years. Loving father of Rob (Angela) and Brian (Niki). Cherished grandpa of Robbie (Kathie), Matthew (Jen), Michael, Stephen, Emily, Liam and Lisa and "GG" of Alexis and Maddison. Dear brother of Andy, Charlie, Edna and predeceased by siblings, Kelly, Bill, Irene and Mary. Brother in-law of Betty, Steve, Moncey, Alec, Elsie and Dena. Joe retired from Dofasco after 38 years of service. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at CCAC and St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and support.
The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 am in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton SPCA would be appreciated.
