IRWIN, Joseph "Joe" - Peacefully in the arms of his wife, at St. Joseph's Hospital on September 19, 2007, at the age of 53. Loving husband of April, cherished dad of Taylor and Nicole. Beloved son of Ellen and the late Kenneth. Survived by his siblings Faye, Jim (Carol), Simone (Dave), Sharon, Sam (Mary), Tara (Jamie), Amanda (Ron) and Joyce-Ann. Beloved son-in-law of Lorna Dunlop (Bob Douglas) and the late Gordon Dunlop. Dear brother-in-law of Shelley (Bill), Blake, Jordan, Jill (Greg), Lissa, Vern, Wayne, and Marsha (Del). Joe will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joe was a dedicated roofer who will always be known for his meticulous garage, there was never a tool out of place. He was a kind man who always put the needs of others before his own, especially for his wife and girls. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for their wonderful care. Family and friends will be received at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church (120 Sherman Ave. N.) on Saturday at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
