Karen FraserSurrounded by her family on October 3rd, 2009 in her 66th year, Karen Joyce Fraser ended her long courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Bruce. Almost a year has passed since we lost our loving father, still fresh in our minds. Our parents were great and unselfish in their ways. They were full of affection and kindness until the very end. Karen will be remembered and loved by her children, Bruce (Arlene), Melissa (Ernest) and Melodie (Brian). Her wonderful grandchildren, Jessie, Tyler, Fraser and Kyle. Karen's sisters, who made her last few months memorable are Anita (Guy) and Yvonne (Ron) with her brother Ron watching from above. Also remembered by "great grandma" Jessie and her children, Brian (Doreen) and Grace (Tony) and by all her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who spent time with mom to make her final weeks enjoyable. Special thanks to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, CCAC and doctors for their on going kindness.Family will receive friends at the CRESMOUNT UPPER JAMES CHAPEL, 1020 Upper James (North of the Linc) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 10 am in the chapel with cremation to follow.
