MORRISON, Karen Lynn (nee Braybrook) Peacefully with family by her side, at Juravinski Hospital on July 24, 2011 in her 63rd year. Loving wife of David, daughter of Florence and the late Harry Braybrook, cherished mother of Chris (Janice) and Kerri (Miles), proud grandmother of baby Sloane. Survived by her brother Kevin (Sue) Braybrook, beloved sister-in-law to Cheryl Cook and Jim (Kathy) Morrison. Karen will be missed by her nieces Heather, Jacklyn and Jennifer, nephew Ryan and her dearest friends Les and Karen, Pete and Sadie, Bob and Myrna, Sandra, and Pat. Karen touched so many lives every day with her gentle kindness and compassion and will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her. The family will receive visitors at UPPER JAMES CHAPEL, Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James, Hamilton, on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a memorial service on Friday at 11 a.m. Special thanks to the nursing staff and doctors in the ICU for providing exemplary care during this difficult time. Donations to Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
