Passed peacefully in her sleep January 25, 2012; in her 87th year; predeceased by her husband John Ivan. Survived by her four children; Victor Hassan of Hamilton, Theo (Jerry) Romenec of Chatham, Roman (Monika) Hassan of Thunder Bay and Leon (Laura) Hassan of Westover. Missed sorrowfully by her nine grandchildren; Steven, Erik, Lindsay, Kristyn, David, Josh, Karlene, Katrina and Keona. Your family and friends will miss you dearly. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) Friday January 27, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday January 28, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Diabetes Association in Katarinas’ name would be greatly appreciated.
